Early Life and Career

Goldie Jeanne Hawn was born in Washington, D.C., on November 21, 1945. Her mother, Laura Hawn, owned a dance school, which instilled a love of performing in Goldie from an early age. She made her professional debut in 1963 on the NBC sketch comedy program "Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In".

Award-Winning Career

Hawn's breakthrough role came in the 1968 film "Cactus Flower", for which she won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. She went on to star in numerous successful films, including "Private Benjamin" (1980), "Overboard" (1987), "Death Becomes Her" (1992), and "The First Wives Club" (1996).

In addition to her acting career, Hawn has also produced several films and television shows. She is known for her comedic timing and her ability to connect with audiences of all ages.
